Our Ministry

The Blessing House is here to serve our church and the community by opening its doors to those who are in need or are seeking a place to fellowship.  We have hosted Birthday Parties, Showers and Community Meetings.  We charge a minimal fee to cover our operating costs of the house.

Guidelines for Events

1. Showers — include, but are not limited to, baby, wedding, engagement, etc.  For a shower the library and dining room may be used.  The kitchen may be used for food storage and clean-up, warming food is allowed, but not food preparation.  Set-up may be done the day before depending upon availability of the House.  Clean-up and set up are not included in the hourly rental fee.

2. Receptions — include, but are not limited to, wedding, anniversary, etc.  For a reception the library, dining room, front living room and kitchen may be used.  The kitchen may be used for food storage and clean-up, warming food is allowed, but not food preparation.  Set-up and clean-up may be done the day before, depending upon availability.  Round tables and chairs for 30 people are included in the rental fee.

3. Birthdays — For a birthday the library and dining room may be used.  The kitchen may be used for food storage and clean-up, but not food preparation.  Set-up may be done the day before depending upon availability of the House.

4. Dinner Party — For a dinner party the library, dining room, and kitchen may be used.  The kitchen may be used for food storage and clean-up, warming food is allowed, but not food preparation.  Clean-up and setup may be done the day before and the day after, depending upon availability of the House.  Round tables and chairs for 30 people are included in the rental fee.

5. Other events can be discussed and assessed on an as needed basis.

Additional chairs and round tables are available for a small rental fee, if you have more than 30 people attending your event.

Available tablecloths can also be rented for a small fee.
