The Worship Experience

We at First Assembly believe that The Worship Experience should be something that every Christian can and should be a part of.  Worship is more than just singing songs of Praise to our Lord, it’s a way of life.  At the beginning of our Mission Statement we say “First Assembly of God exists to worship God according to the principles of His word,” and that’s what we strive to do.

Style of Music and Worship

The style of Worship and Music at First Assembly is a contemporary blend of modern worship songs along with some traditional hymns that are relevant to today.  Many of our music selections are from awesome people like Darlene Zschech, Chris Tomlin, Israel Houghton, Hillsong, Carol Cymbala and Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.  Often in a service you will see people clapping there hands and rejoicing over what God is doing and has done in a persons life.  Other times you will see people with their hands lifted as a sign of surrender to God as He changes their lives to reflect more of Him.  All this is an outward expression of praise and worship to the creator of the universe.
